King Wise Farmhouse is an easy 15 minute drive into the small town of Pittsworth which has 4 coffee shops, bakery, hotel, Rusty’s Bar & Grill, Woolworths, IGA, 2 butchers, 3 beautiful clothing shops, electrical, hardware, 2 chemists, Pizza Hut, Chinese, library.

Yes, Pittsworth has a lovely public pool & amenities open from September through to April.

  • Is there a laundry nearby?

King Wise Farmhouse has a front loader washing machine available for your use during your stay.  There is also a laundromat in Pittsworth (15 minute easy drive).

  • Do you have WiFi?

No, currently, we don’t.  Mobile coverage is usually very good for both Optus & Telstra.  We have used our phones to stream movies onto the TV & there is also a Firestick dongle you can access using your mobile data.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Sadly, no.  We love dogs however there are feral cats, dogs & pigs on our farm as well as snakes during the warmer months and we would hate for anything to happen to your beloved furry friend.

  • What can I do on your farm?

When you are our guests at King Wise Farmhouse you have use of the Farmhouse and the immediate fenced yard & car shed.

Outside of that area, you are most welcome to explore the designated tracks around our fields (being aware at all times that this is a working farm with large machinery etc).  We ask that you stay on the designated tracks & not walk through fields.

It may be possible to have a farm tour where we’ll show you around our farm explaining what work is happening.  Please ask.

In the fenced area, there’s a designated fire pit for your use.

There are a few outdoor games available for your use. (volleyball net, boules, badminton)

There are many flat, bitumen roads -  perfect for cycling enthusiasts or leisurely walks!

  • Are there any dangers on your farm?

As with any farm, you will need to practice safety awareness.  Be aware of what is happening - look and listen out for machinery, or in warmer weather, we tend to have “visitors” - snakes!  Keep your eyes open & be on alert!

Sadly, we have feral cats, dogs, and pigs roaming around, particularly at night, so again - be on alert.

Our farm is a working farm; therefore, large machinery will move about at different times - from early in the morning to late at night.  This means sometimes it may be a bit noisy or dusty.  Sometimes, machinery needs to use the roads - please be patient!

Our farm also has large irrigation dams, ditches and gullies, which may or may not have water.  Please keep away, and definitely NO swimming.
